R22 Refron Refrigerant generally used as a fuel & refrigerant. Operation Used in a repaying compressor, as a refrigerant in artificial, marketable & ménage air- condition system; also used to produce germicide & aerosol for scattering makeup; to produce extinguishing agent 1211; as the introductory material to produce a wide variety of fluorinated macromolecular composites.

Description The operations of R22 are being phased out in developed countries due to the emulsion’s ozone reduction eventuality (ODP) and high global warming eventuality (GWP), although global use of R-22 continues to increase because of high demand in developing countries. R-22 Refron is a protean intermediate in artificial organofluorine chemistry,e.g. as a precursor to tetrafluoroethylene. R-22 cylinders are colored light green.
